The Fellowship comes to a bend in the river and Aragorn taps Frodo on the shoulder.
Aragorn : "Frodo. The Argonath. Long have I desired to look upon the kings of old, my kin."

There are two enormous statues of men in armor, ( The Argonath ) flanking the river, their left hands outstretched in a gesture of warding. The Fellowship goes past them, into a lake, where they find an old moorage and beach their boats.
